Jess and Tom's Crewe Hall Wedding
Jess and Tom chose one of the most spectacular venues in the local area for their September wedding. Crewe Hall is a Grade 1 listed former mansion that now operates as a hotel and spa.
They were keen to make good use of the location in their Crewe Hall wedding photography, so we held our final pre-wedding meeting at the Hall to explore it properly and discuss the which parts of the beautiful building and its magnificent grounds would provide the best backdrop for Jess and Tom's wedding photographs.
Tom's arrival at Crewe Hall, in Diamond Limousines' gigantic Hummer H2 limo was in keeping with the spectacular venue.
Back in the hotel room with Jess and her bridesmaids, there was plenty of emotion as she put on her wedding dress and revealed it to her Dad and Grandad for the first time.
There was just time for Tom's Mum to come and wish Jess good luck, before it was time for the bridal party to make its way to the Library for the wedding ceremony itself.
Inside the Library, Tom and the other guests were excitedly awaiting Jess's arrival.
Next, it was on to the drinks reception in Crewe Hall's impressive atrium, and a bit of informal wedding photography, before we dodged the intermittent drizzle to get a few formal pictures outside.
When it was time for the wedding breakfast, I left the wedding party to eat in peace, rejoining them in the Long Gallery to photograph the speeches, and the tears and laughter arising from them.
When I had met with Tom and Jess, we had discussed if there were any particular pictures that they wanted and so, after the wedding breakfast, we went to explore Crewe Hall and take some photographs of just the two of them.

Evening fell, and it was time for the first dance - briefly guest-starring Grandad, who was acting as videographer for the day!
Then the party went on into the night.
