Becky & Ash's Upper House Wedding
Becky and Ash chose one of the prettiest venues in the local area for their summer wedding. The Upper House Hotel was originally built in 1845 for the grandson of Josiah Wedgwood, who founded the world-famous pottery firm that bears his name to this day.
As well as the picturesque house itself, The Upper House is famous for its spectacular grounds and gardens, covering some 10 acres, which Becky and Ash made an integral part of the day by opting for an outdoor wedding ceremony.
Becky decided to get ready at the Upper House, so I arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony to capture those moments.
Becky and Ash's young son was very happy to see Mum & Dad's wedding day, and looked very dapper in his suit.
As the time for the outdoor ceremony approached, it was time for Becky to put on her stunning dress.
With all the preparations made, it was time for the outdoor ceremony in The Upper House's gardens.
With the formalities complete, it was time to throw some confetti and begin the party.
After the wedding breakfast, it was time for some speeches, with lots of laughter and emotion.
As with most weddings, there was a break in proceedings after the speeches, I took Becky and Ash into the lovely gardens at the Upper House for some photographs of just the two of them.
As evening fell, it was time to bring the day to a close with the evening reception and dancing into the night.
