Adam and Laura's close ties to the church and love of musicals were combined when they planned their big day. So I found myself taking the wedding photographs at St Mark's Church in Basford, Stoke-on-Trent before heading, on a vintage Routemaster bus to the spectacular Victoria Hall for the reception.

Preparations complete, it was time to leave for the wedding ceremony at St Mark's.

As well as a packed church, and the support of their fellow members of the choir, one unique feature of the wedding was that it was conducted by three vicars, all of them friends of Adam and Laura.

With the wedding ceremony complete, there was time for a few photos outside the church. As well as the more formal wedding photographs, like the group pictures with family and friends, I  take lots of informal, natural wedding photographs.

Acting as a wedding photographer at the Victoria Hall was a new experience for me, and probably would be for many wedding photographers as they rarely hire out the hall for this kind of function.
